Wedding Ceremony to take place at
4:00 pm, Saturday, June 20, 2009
at our tropical destination
Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort & Spa
Nassau, Bahamas
All inclusive, all adult (18 or older) resort located on the beautiful turquoise waters in the Caribbean. Considered Caribbean's most elegant resort
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Why we choose Sandals in the Bahamas as our destination wedding location
We would like all of our guests to have a wonderful, first-class ultra resort experience. During your stay with us at Sandals, you can enjoy resort activities as well as activities we have planned. Sandals is a private "closed" resort property which provides registered guests with a personalized, unique experience. All the dining choices, activities and drinks are included in the price. There are nightclubs, several swimming pools, theme nights, an offshore island and 8 gourmet restaurants all included in the price. What we have planned:
- Wednesday, June 17 - travel to Sandals, check in & relax
- Thursday, June 18 - welcome to Sandals & Get Acquainted Party
- Friday, June 19 - Melissa & Jack's rehearsal dinner, portraits on the beach & party under the stars
- Saturday, June 20 - our wedding day, ceremony & reception
- Sunday, June 21 - Celebration Dinner at the Italian Restaurant for the following: Jack's birthday, Patricia & Duane's wedding anniversary, Duane & Matt's birthday
- Monday, June 22 - fun at Sandals & explore the city
- Tuesday, June 23 - check out
- (suggested itinerary based on a 6-night stay; however you can stay & have fun in the tropics as long as you wish, this is a once-in a lifetime event)
Unfortunately, if you choose to stay at another location instead of Sandals, you will only be able to come onto Sandals property
on the day of our wedding ceremony because Sandals is a private "closed" property only offering all-inclusive
amenities to registered guests (a day pass must be purchased for each non-registered guest and all non-registered guests must be off the property by 6:00 pm).
You will not be able to be part of our parties or evening activities at the resort. We know that such a destination location is expensive which is why we choose an all-inclusive resort, even the transportation to and from the airport is included in the price. |
What's included at the resort?
Nightly Entertainment & Themes (Included)
- Night Club, Live Shows, Live Bands,
Piano Bar,
Karaoke
- Junkanoo Buffet, International Night
FYI - we have selected this property based on reviews and the all-inclusive resort amenities. If you decide to stay at another property, you may want to consider the extra costs for food, drinks, entertainment, activities, transfers, etc. Lodging and food in the Bahamas is very expensive as with most Caribbean locations. Also, if you stay at another location, you will only be able to come onto Sandals property on the day of our wedding ceremony with the purchase of a day pass for $110 per person (expires at 6:00 pm).
